"Location is fantastic !! SAFE !!

Beautiful home , restaurants next door , grocery 2 blocks away , privacy , CULTURE !!

Very clean ..

My husband & 3 young adults 23-25 yrs old stayed here . If you want to immerse yourself in culture, FOOD , shopping, this is perfect. We walked 2-5 miles a day along boardwalk. The ocean 2 blocks , beaches 4 blocks. We walked day & nights, never a worry. Loved area. At end of day , we sat in tub/ pool everyday !! We often drank coffee in the pool/ hot tub in morning. ( coffee shop at end of street)

Guy called to check on Us .Fidel , house manager VERY helpful.

Next door Melissa’s seafood was excellent for dinner & drinks .. I would definitely come back. If you book i HIGHLY suggest comfy walking shoes as all streets are cobble stone.

"Our family loved our week-long stay at Casa Romance Escondido between Christmas and New Year's. We were welcomed by a beautifully-decorated Christmas tree! The home is attractive and in excellent condition and there are multiple spaces, both inside and out, for gathering or for quiet reading. We particularly loved the ground level pool and the upstairs patio, overlooking the city and with great views of the Pacific. Yadira and her daughter Sol prepared delicious breakfasts for us on three mornings. Every day we walked along the malecon, which is located just a couple of blocks from the house, and enjoyed mingling with the local families. We explored many restaurants, all within walking distance. We particularly appreciate all of the emails, text messages and phone calls from Guy in advance of, and during, our stay. Thanks very much, Guy!"

"Everything was great about this experience- communication prior to arrival, property manager at arrival to walk us through house and the beautiful property. We were three families, one baby. Guy and Fidel made sure we had not only a high chair but also a pack and play for 19 month old to sleep in bedroom .

The location is perfect- short 2 blocks to ocean and to our surprise around the corner from our favorite restaurant, Pipis.

Went to Old Town and beach there daily, fun walk on Malecon and seeing all the restaurants and shops.

The place was clean, and had maid service in once. Kitchen fully equipped, including even a griddle and waffle iron. We loved this place and will be back!"

"We were a family and friends group of 8. Guy was very easy to talk with and answered all of our questions. He checked in with me throughout our stay to ask if we had everything we needed. He was very helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. I highly recommend La Dolce Vita if you want fantastic Italian Food. Please also take the time to visit the church just around the corner. It's stunning!

The House Manger Fidel was very welcoming and helpful in setting up a fishing trip for the men in our group. They had a wonderful time!! The house was very close to everything in Old Town PV. An easy walk to the Malecon with lots of shopping and access to restaurant and beaches.

I would highly recommend staying at this home if you have the opportunity. Beautifully decorated in authentic Mexican style, comfortable beds and a bathroom in each bedroom.

"Traveled with four kids from 17 to 28 years old. The location of the house fit everyone’s desires. Two and a half blocks from the Malecon, literally right in the middle of the Art District, 15 minute walk to beautiful beaches, and more. Our kids loved the freedom of coming and going as they pleased, very safe area. The house was perfect for the six of us, beds were comfortable, rooftop terrace to watch fireworks, garden patio with soaking pool/jacuzzi to cool off in. Plenty of common spaces to gather and visit or to get away for some quiet time. Fidel is a wealth of knowledge - take advantage of what (and who) he knows! He setup a day of fishing for my husband and sons, they caught two very large mahi-mahi, the boat captain cleaned and cut beautiful fillets for us, we brought them next door to the restaurant Melissa and they prepared it five different ways...incredible! Yadi was wonderful, our 17 year old had a mishap with some enchilada sauce on a shirt he and I both worked on it, left it in the laundry sink to soak, when we came back later in the day it was spotless and hanging on the clothes line, it was a miracle that she got it clean. The owners Guy & Patricia are equally as helpful, they called us a few times to check in to be sure we were comfortable and to give us suggestions from restaurants to beaches, entertainment to massages and things not to miss like the Botanic Gardens. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa Romance Escondido again! Thank you!"

"We couldn't have asked for a better location for our large family get away to Puerto Vallarta. There were 9 of us in total, and from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. Guy, the owner, was super responsive to all inquiries and we felt completely taken care of. When we arrived we were greeted by Fidel, the property manager, who was very helpful and responded quickly to any and all requests. The house itself is huge, has 4 very large bedrooms, all with comfortable beds, and each bedroom has it's own bathroom and air conditioning. The rest of the house has multiple ceiling and standing fans to keep the air flow going. We were there during a particularly hot period, and while it was fairly warm in the common areas, the bedrooms were cool and comfortable. The kitchen is fully appointed with everything you could possible need, and there is a lovely rooftop terrace with views towards the ocean and Malecon. The main courtyard is very private, with a large table and chairs, plus a dipping pool that was wonderful for cooling off on those hot days. We did have the pool guy, Joel, turn off the pump and filter for the majority of the time we were there, as they filter through a solar heating system and we did not need any heating for the water while we were there. It would be nice on chilly winter evenings though. TV's are in every room with Netflix and US channels available. All of us found the beds very comfortable, and the use of both a washer and dryer for laundry was invaluable as well. Both the maid and the pool/garden guy were friendly and did a fantastic job. The location of the Casa is perfect, 3 almost flat blocks to the Malecon and buses, as well as 10-15 minutes walk south to the Romantic zone. We used Uber extensively and found that an easy way to get around as well. There are many restaurants, pharmacies, Oxxo's and other stores all within walking distance. Guy himself checked in on us a couple of times, despite travelling himself, and we felt thoroughly content staying there. We would 100% stay there again!! Just loved everything about Casa Romance!"

"The best part of staying in the beautiful Casa Romance Escondido was being in the heart of it all. Two blocks from the center of the Malecon (boardwalk), steps away from Café Des Artistes (rated one of the best restaurants in Mexico), in the middle of participating art galleries for the Art Walk (Wednesday evenings) and right down the hill from the Mirador Cerro De La Cruz lookout where you can enjoy wonderful views - the climb is worth it!

"This is it! It had loads of Mexican charm and was the most well stocked home we have ever stayed in! The beds were comfortable, the upstairs sun deck was fabulously beautiful with all the plants and oh so sunny! The pool was warm and inviting and used quite a lot! So close to the malacon and yet far enough away from the noise at night! The maid and the gardener were also warm and friendly! And Fidel ( the house manager) your pretty great too! The only complaint we had was the furniture in the living room....it looks beautiful but is not comfortable. But don't let that stop you from renting this jem. It was a wonderful holiday. "We had a wonderful stay here with five siblings and our spouses. The Casa is centrally located several short blocks from the Malecon, with resraurants, bank, and all amenities nearby. The Casa itself is spectacular. Four spacious bedrooms with en suites, air conditioning, and king beds. Gorgeous view of the bay from the terrace. Lots of comfortable sitting space for socializing. A hot tub to relax in. There's maid service, and all necessities are supplied. Many green plants add to the decor. All in all, a fabulous stay. Thanks, Guy, for your hospitality.

"What a fabulous home. Just returned from our stay there and it was magical. 2 1/2 blocks to the heart of the Malecon and nice beaches. A ten minute walk to old town. Cafe des Artistes, one if the top restaurants in Mexico, only 25 feet away. Which is also a handy refernce point to tell cab drivers, easier than the address. I can't say enough great things about the house and Guy himself who was also terrific. Spent tons of time on the rooftop terrace overlooking Banderas Bay sipping my morning coffee or a glass of wine at night."

"My husband and I recently stayed at Casa Romance Escondido for a pre-wedding gathering with our families. The house was clean and well-equipment for 7 adults. It's in a great location just a few blocks from the boardwalk, lots of restaurants and shopping. Fidel welcomed my family upon arrival and gladly answered our questions and gave us great tips for things to see around town. The background was perfect for family dinners followed by epic sunsets on the rooftop deck! One of the nights we were able to get dinner catered by Melissa's restaurant next door. The owners personally came to discuss menu options and pricing. Their food was delicious and the staff was very nice and professional. Next time we're in PV we will definitely consider staying here again."

"Casa romance completely exceeded our expectations and was essential is making our to as memorable as it was. Many of our evenings were spent on the rooftop terrace watching the sunsets, and the location was ideal, just two blocks from the Malecon and about a twenty minute walk south to Playa los Muertos. The folks at Melissa's restaurant next door were very kind and obliging in bringing over snacks and margaritas. A tremendous thank you to Guy and Patricia for letting us stay at their beautiful casa, we hope to come back soon!"

"This house is amazing. We had seven people in our party and had plenty of room. The location is perfect in the central district, close to the beach, various shops, and two top class restaurants within a few steps. The rooms were clean and spacious. We used all four bedrooms and showers. The kitchen has it all, but we weren't there to cook. The decorations on the walls and around the house will keep you finding something new every time you look at them - beautifully furnished. The large spa/hot tub will take a short time to heat up with solar and heater functioning, but it worked well. The view from house top is wonderful, looking over other houses/shops, etc. into the blue ocean.

The house manager, Fidel, was warm and supportive of anything we asked. He gave us his phone number so we could reach him anytime. He was there to open the house, gave us the house tour, answered all our questions, and recommended activities, shows, and restaurants. Do not miss the "Rhythms of the Night" boat, dinner, and show; what a professional and acrobatic show!"

"Just got back and I couldn't wait to share! This beautiful home was perfect for our family vacation. My husband and I, our parents and all of our children /teenagers really enjoyed our stay at Casa Romance. There was more than enough room for all of us. Staying at Casa Romance made our family vacation so much better than expected. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable in the home. We couldn't get enough of the magnificent views from the rooftop patio. Venturing out was easy because of the location, 2 blocks away from the Malecon, restaurants and bus stops near by. Fidel was friendly and accommodating. He helped us book a tour at a good price and we would suggest going with his recommendations. "Casa Romance was so perfect. We spent a week there with two kids and grandparents, and it could not have been better. Plenty of room for everyone. A beautiful courtyard, and the view of the ocean and town from the third floor is spectacular.

Guy was a very responsive and kind owner, and our point of contact PV, Fidel, was incredibly helpful in showing us how everything in the house works, or booking any tours or taxis we might need.

We are counting the minutes until we can come back and stay again!"

"Location is fantastic, within walking distance of the Malecon and many great restaurants. Fidel was great and the sleeping arrangements were great! There were 7 of us and we were always meeting on the third floor patio. The only negative was the presentation of the bathrooms, beginning summary says 6, bathroom amenities shows a full bathroom for each bed room, only the last words in the written bedroom amenities summary does it say the third floor bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Shame on us for not reading all the details but it is a little misleading."

"The process to check in was seamless! Thanks Fidel! Casa Romance was recommended to me by a full time residence in PV. There were 7 of us in our party, rooms were spacious too. In our case I hired a separate chef for daily meals through the owner of Arte Culinario. Wonderfully prepared meals! The staff at the house were great, you don't even know their there! The view from the upper deck was great! We loved hanging out there in the evening playing games. Although the pool is smaller...we were ALL mighty happy to have it everyday! Would book a repeat trip in a heart beat! Also, appreciated Guy calling us to check in on us and sending over a special treat from Melissa's restaurant! The coffee shop across the street gets an A+ too! Thank you!!!"

"Casa Romance Escondido is nothing short of absolutely wonderful!! This beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean, and well appointed villa is such a welcoming place! All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and inviting. We especially appreciated the overhead fans that are nearly everywhere making the warm temperatures more than comfortable. We made some lovely meals in the fully stocked kitchen but also took advantage of the many restaurants just steps from the front door. (Make sure to try out the newly opened restaurant next door. We watched this family work hard during the days and then eat together on the curb and sidewalk. They were so friendly we almost tried to stay an extra night just to try out their new place.) We also made climbing to the top of the hill right outside of the villa a daily ritual enjoying the view from the lookout. So, so lovely..... We miss it already!!"

"We had a family of eleven staying in this beautiful home. It is really about the location. It is really in the heart of the city and so close to everything. It was nice to walk to the boardwalk and be close to restaurants and shops. We had a beautiful view out our bedroom being on the top floor or as my granddaughter called it "The tippy top". We were greeted by Fidel and was surprised with some wine, beer and tequila. What a nice welcome. We really enjoyed having our evening meals in the garden area next to the pool and being able to sit around a table that would accommodate us all. We felt we had lots of room and privacy being in right in downtown."

"What a wonderful location so close to everything that is happening in Puerto Vallarta. Fidel was there to meet us when we arrived and gave a very informative tour of the property. All the bedrooms are huge, comfortable and beautifully decorated to get you into the Mexican frame of mind. Really enjoyed having spices and many other staples on hand. Well appointed kitchen. That is such a thoughtful gesture on the part of the owners. Everything was kept wonderfully clean and the gardens are beautiful. Very restful sitting next to the pool in the midst of a "jungle". Many birds came to visit.

The rooftop terrace is a beautiful place to enjoy star-gazing or the view of the ocean. Very hot during the day but then you can move downstairs to the outside living space.

"Our group enjoyed staying at Casa Romance very much.The location is superb for enjoying all PV

has to offer,from hundreds of dining choices,beaches,shows,casinos,shopping and various site

seeing tours.The house is large and has lots of great spaces to enjoy as a group,but is also laid

out nicely for a bit of privacy when needed.We enjoyed the lounge pool, comfy beds,large upper

balcony,laundry facilities and the ability to stay connected to loved ones at home through wifi

and free computer phone.There is a liquor store, 3 oxxo's and grocery store (Ley's) all within walking

distance of the house.Another added bonus is a restaurant called Melissa's (Delicious) next door

and coffee house, Cafe Josefa across the street. Both ran by the wonderful Hernadez family,

some of the nicest people you will ever meet.The house manager Fidel was great,he checked in

often to make sure all was running well at the house.He arranged a fishing trip for our group,

was helpful with questions and gave many fine recommendations.The maid was sweet and

helped keep everything neat and tidy. I would like to end with a BIG Thank you to Guy and Patricia

"We had the pleasure to stay in this fabulous home for one week. There was ten of us and the house was so spacious we were very comfortable. The rooms were decorated so beautifully, the little things that were supplied were so appreciated. Bus and taxi service was almost at front door. We were a very short distance from the shoreline and enjoyed the walks through town.Very good restaurants close by, but a wonderful kitchen to cook in was used often. The pool was large enough to fit us all in and we had a great time relaxing, enjoying everyone's company. Hopefully the next time we travel to mexico we will have everything again that Guy's house offers!"

"If you want an authentic Puerto Vallarta experience, Casa Romance Escondido is the place to stay. It is perfecltiy located in the old town, short walks to the beaches, shopping, the Malecon, and the historic and beautiful Church of our Lady Guadalupe. Even more, it is right around the corner from great art galleries and also fantastic dining.

The house itself is a dream - plenty of private space, but lots of gathering places, a lovely courtyard with dipping pool to escape the sun and have romantic dinners, and an upper porch for lovely mornings with coffee and evening sunset views over the ocean. Don;t stay at a hotel or resort! Live the real deal! The cost is so reasonable, too - and a bargain for all you get. We plan to go back!"

"Our family of seven found this house perfect for being together yet having private space! The house is huge, and tastefully furnished and fully equipped both indoors and outdoors. Its location, less than 3 blocks from The Malecon, and surrounded by top notch restaurants and galleries couldn't have been more convenient. Guy and his local staff were very attentive, and we were greeted with complimentary margaritas, tortilla chips, guacamole and salsa from the very friendly restaurateur from nearby Melissa's! Those turned out to be the best margaritas we had in PV. We would recommend this house highly, and wouldn't hesitate to return."

The kitchen is fully stocked and there are plenty of seats around the huge diningroom table for your friends and family. All the furnishings are comfortable and in great condition .If there are any questions about the Casa, Guy and Patricia's management company is there in minutes.
